Annabelle's Salt
A great spice blend to use on grilled chicken, fish, steamed veggies, bread, etc.
Ingredients
- 6 oz garlic salt
- 2 tbsp white pepper
- 3/4 cup oregano leaves
Instructions

In a small bowl, stir together all ingredients until well combined. Pour into a shaker with lid. Make sure shaker opening is large enough for oregano to flow freely.

Many years ago, there was a restaurant by the name of Annabelle's in a nearby town. They had a dish that consisted of grilled chicken topped with a butter and herb sauce. The sauce was made by combining this salt recipe with melted butter...it was wonderful! Try a few shakes with melted butter and brush over grilled chicken, bread or veggies!
