Today’s recipe is a fun one for the kids to try…Candy! We will share two versions of this SIMPLE Treat this month…and we like to call this one “The Darkside” due to use of dark chocolate! Tuck this recipe away to pull out when you start to make those Holiday Treats!
Crockpot Candy – The Darkside
Ingredients
- 16 oz tray of dark chocolate, such as Candi-quik brand
- 11 oz package Nestle Tollhouse milk chocolate and peanut butter morsels
- 1 cup crunchy peanut butter
- 16 oz can cocktail peanuts
Instructions

Break apart tray of dark chocolate and place pieces into Crockpot.

Add remaining ingredients to Crockpot.

Place lid on Crockpot and cook on LOW for 1 hour. Stir; then cook for an additional 30 minutes, as needed, to make sure all ingredients have melted.

Drop by small spoonfuls onto wax paper-lined trays. Let candy sit to firm up.

When candy has "set", place into airtight container or baggies.
