I was glad when they said unto me, “Let us go into the house of the Lord.”
This verse always takes me back to my childhood and attending church with my family at Central Baptist.
This verse was used in our old bulletins and at one time was placed inside the entrance into our Educational Building where the Sunday School classes were located. Central Baptist is still located in the Whitnel community in Lenoir, where it humbly began in 1938! Today is a great time to celebrate God’s Blessings on Central and the history of this church and all who have passed through her doors.
May we never forget the privilege and blessing we have to freely worship the Lord in America! I hope you will choose to attend the church of your choice today and take your family and friends with you!
